Swipe card systems act as access control mechanisms in organizations. They also record the entries and exits of employees. Leave management mechanisms record leave transactions. Apart from this, there are other transactions like weekly offs, compensatory offs, on-duty etc. So it follows that to arrive at fairly accurate attendance status of an employee, all these data, which is present in different
systems would have to be collated, compared and analyzed.
The Attendance Module bridges this vital gap and collates and processes the data recorded in the Swipe Card system
Leave Management Module (which records all planned, authorized or regulated leave transactions)
Shift Management Module (which has provisions to define and manage
Employee Shift information)
Holidays and Weekly Off Master (where company holidays list, weekend policy and any shift specific weekly offs are defined and managed)
to give critical information on Employee absence, late arrivals, early departures, OT or excess hours employee wise, total man-hours man-days, Loss of Pay, etc.
In essence, Attendance Module automates the process of collecting the Swipe information, merges it with the Leave, Authorized Absence, Shift, Weekly Offs, Compensatory offs and Holidays information to arrive at the Attendance Status of an employee.
